The Commercial Sales Specialist will partner with the Commercial team to maintain our customer relationships through responsiveness, communication, collaboration, and teamwork. This is a fast-paced active environment which will require focus and flexibility to achieve our ultimate goal – driving Commercial sales. This role will report directly to the General Manager and have a dotted line to the Commercial team.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Make sales to Commercial customers inside the store and ensure they are correctly rung out through the Commercial register at the Commercial Sales Desk.* Maintain daily contact with multiple Commercial customer contacts via email, phone, and in-person.* Communicate daily with the Commercial team via phone, texts, emails, and in-person.* Coach, lead, and train all in-store associates to understand, identify, and properly engage with Commercial customers to highlight our value propositions and overall capabilities, in order to drive Commercial sales within the store.* Properly enter new Commercial customer profiles into the system.* Walk the sales floor to engage with Commercial customers while they’re shopping.* In partnership with the Commercial team, order and stock products that are in high demand by Commercial customers.* Provide product stocking recommendations based upon communications with Commercial customers regarding their current and future needs.* Communicate sourcing opportunities to the Commercial team.* Pull products and fulfill Commercial customer orders on the website. Consistently work to help customers place their own orders on the website, as they are able.* Provide website support for Commercial customers and partner with the Commercial team to optimize current website accounts – Shopping Lists.* Perform Commercial customer deliveries.* Create Purchase Orders in collaboration with the Commercial team.* In partnership with the Commercial team, use sales reporting and customer data to identify and target specific customers who represent opportunities for sales growth.* Be a resource for Commercial customers who have questions about product availability, delivery, lead time, product use, and substitutions.* In partnership with the Commercial team, attend in-person meetings with Commercial customers at their place of business, when appropriate.* Review online store orders for possible Commercial customer opportunities.* Provide a weekly recap to celebrate the wins and associate recognition.* Additional duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned.**Other Essential Requirements**Ability to exhibit and incorporate our Core Values into daily decisions and interactions with others:* WINNING – In business, money is the score.
