Outside Property Claim Representative Associate

Compensation Overview Annual base salary range: $52,600.00 - $86,800.00. The actual salary will be determined by various factors including location, experience, and other conditions.

Location Territory: Chicagoland area. This position is based remotely with work at residential and commercial locations.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.

Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under close supervision.

Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third‑party providers.

Investigate and evaluate relevant facts, including leases, contracts, by‑laws, and other documents that may affect coverage.

Determine and apply coverage for building damages per policy terms.

Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses and produce estimates.

Provide timely professional communication to customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.

Show openness to continuous learning, especially in AI and digital transformation.

Adapt to new technology implementations and system upgrades while maintaining productivity and service quality.

Maintain required insurance license(s) and/or UAS Remote Pilot Certification as needed.

Participate in Catastrophe Response Program, including deployment to assist customers in other states.

Perform physical duties such as climbing ladders (38–49 lb) and entering tight spaces when deployed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to positive experience.

Sound judgment and effective decision‑making.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Basic conflict resolution skills with willingness to learn advanced techniques.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.

Valid driver’s license.
