Schedule Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday mornings

Job Description The Consumer Loan Processor is primarily responsible for processing a high volume of consumer loans, including home equity loans and lines of credit, while ensuring timely, accurate, courteous and confidential delivery of loan related services. A processor is an integral part of supporting a compliant lending process by meeting all regulatory requirements. Tasks include, but are not limited to, reviewing applications, funding loans, communicating with members and vendors, and managing reports with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to research issues and identify solutions.

Demonstrate excellent member service skills and professionalism in both external and internal communications.

Strong understanding and ability to adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures, including security procedures and applicable state and federal lending regulations.

Willing and able to be flexible and adaptable to changing regulations, credit union policies and procedures, and job requirements.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy.

Demonstrate professionalism, maturity, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Maintain a positive attitude while collaborating with others, even under challenging circumstances.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of loan processing or consumer lending experience in a financial service institution required, preferably a credit union.

High School diploma, with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Knowledge of consumer lending documents and processes, preferred.

Mortgage lending and document experience, preferred.

Excellent written communication and customer service skills.

High attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
