Job Description - Director - Medical / Surgical (7411-1188) Andalusia Regional Hospital The Nursing Manager assumes the role as a leader in planning, organizing, coaching and facilitating their department functions and staff to assure quality service on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. The Director is responsible for meeting Joint Commission Standards, complying with the organization's policy and procedures, for managing supplies and equipment on their unit(s), for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, and for appropriate resource management.

Qualifications Must possess current Alabama RN Licensure with current BLS certification. Bachelors or Master's Degree preferred. ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
