Overview Our Saatchi LA & Dallas offices are looking for college seniors and recent graduates who are eager to learn and gain experience with real client work at an agency. Saatchi’s Summer Internship is a paid 8-week hybrid program from June 15th to August 14th with an opportunity for a 4-day work week, providing lessons from various departments across the agency, opportunities to work alongside and gain mentorship from advertising professionals and leaders, in addition to working on real client work.
For this role, we are looking for someone interested in learning how cultural understanding can shape stronger marketing and creative ideas. This internship will support Toyota’s community-based marketing efforts, with a focus on understanding the passions, behaviors, and cultural signals that bring people together around what they care about most. The ideal candidate is deeply curious about culture, communities, and the way people participate in the things they love, and is excited to learn how research, insight, and strategy can help brands connect with people in more meaningful ways.
Responsibilities
Research communities, cultural behaviors, audience passions, and emerging trends to help the team better understand how brands can connect with people through what they genuinely love
Gather and organize research, examples, and references that support strategic thinking and creative development, using modern tools to accomplish that
Help synthesize findings into clear takeaways that can contribute to briefs, presentations, and team discussions
Collaborate with strategy, creative, account, media, and other cross-functional teams to help connect audience understanding to creative opportunity
Assist with day-to-day team needs including organizing materials, building decks, and helping translate research into useful, actionable inputs
Qualifications
Passion and interest in marketing, advertising, strategy, cultural research, or communications
Interest in communities, subcultures, and the ways people engage with the things they care deeply about
Strong curiosity about culture and an eagerness to learn how to identify patterns, behaviors, and emerging trends
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and thoughtfully
Interest in learning how research and cultural insight can inform creative development and brand thinking
Familiarity with social and digital platforms, and an interest in how people communicate differently across them
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask
Attention to detail and the ability to organize information clearly
A personal passion, hobby, or interest you have immersed yourself in is a plus

Compensation: $20/Hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
