$38-$42/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) Children:

Description Start: early/mid May
A family in Oakland is seeking an experienced, creative nanny to care for their baby girl (currently 4 months old). Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, engaging in play, preparing bottles, helping with developmental transitions, child laundry, light tidying, and light pet care for their friendly Lab.
Someone who is comfortable getting down on the floor, exploring the world at baby's level, and narrating and engaging with their daughter will be the best fit! Their ideal candidate is punctual, communicative, and experienced with child development and milestones.
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
COVID-vaccinated + staying current on the booster or willing to update
TB and Tdap vaccine
CPR Certified
Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household car for work-related driving)
Ideally lives within a 5-10 mile radius of Oakland
Punctual
Prior experience with infants - toddlers
Familiar with child development and milestones
Creative in coming up with activities
Comfortable with parents working from home / hybrid
Excellent communication skills
Engaging
Good judgement / decision making
Warm, loving
Energetic, active; comfortable getting down on the floor with baby
Responsibilities
Engaging with baby; talking, singing, narrating
Planning age-appropriate activities
Working on milestones
Child laundry
Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
Helping with developmental transitions (solids, naps, potty training, etc.)
Light tidying (baby's room, play areas, common areas, loading/unloading dishwasher)
Light pet care - taking dog for a walk with baby
