Job Summary
Technical Writer in Santa Clara, CA. Contract position. Salary $21.27 - $27.00 per hour. Work hours 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and maintain English source and translated technical documentation to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and adherence to style guidelines.
Leverage structured authoring tools and electronic workflows to effectively manage document updates, version control, and publishing approvals.
Direct technical writing projects from end-to-end, managing planning, resource estimation, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
Track document quality metrics and collaborate with management to refine operational effectiveness, processes, and authoring tools.
Qualifications
Experience level: Experienced.
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Technical writing experience 1–3 years, DITA/CMS skills.
