
Interior Designer III

We are seeking a motivated, technically strong Interior Designer to join our Bozeman team. This role will support and lead interior design efforts across a diverse portfolio including healthcare environments and residential remodel projects. The ideal candidate brings a professional degree in Interior Design, strong Revit proficiency, and a thoughtful approach to both technical documentation and material selection. This position offers meaningful opportunities for growth within a collaborative, multidisciplinary architecture and design firm.
A Day In The Life / Responsibilities
Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop compelling interior design solutions aligned with client goals, project vision, and performance requirements
Develop interior design concepts from schematic design through construction administration
Produce design presentations, finish boards, space plans, FF&E packages, and construction documentation
Create and coordinate Revit models, finish plans, interior elevations, detailing, and specifications
Participate in design charrettes, user group meetings, and product/material research
Select and specify furniture, finishes, and materials that are cohesive, durable, code-compliant, and sustainable
Contribute to healthcare planning and design with attention to patient-centered environments and performance standards
Support residential remodel and other project types with a focus on functionality, longevity, and aesthetic clarity
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal team members across all project phases
Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design intent
Assist with construction administration activities including submittal review, site observations, and punch lists
Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in coordination with senior designers and project architects
Prepare accurate interior construction documents, finish schedules, and furniture specifications
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and design curiosity within the firm
Qualifications & Skill Set
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
3–5 years of professional interior design experience
NCIDQ certification or active pursuit preferred
LEED AP preferred
Proficiency in Revit (required)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam preferred
Experience in healthcare design preferred
Residential remodel experience a plus
Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and specifications
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and building systems
Strong graphic, visualization, and presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Demonstrated ability to translate design concepts into thoughtful, functional, and beautiful interiors
Experience collaborating with architects, consultants, clients, and contractors throughout the design process
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a valid work visa to legally work in the U.S.
