International Mobility Specialist Gloucester | Hybrid | Full or Part Time

Your Role

Provide guidance to HR teams and business units on all aspects of international mobility compliance, including tax, social security, immigration, and employment‑related risks.

Advise stakeholders on policy application, assignment structures, and cross‑border workforce considerations.

Oversee the end‑to‑end relocation experience, ensuring employees receive clear communication, timely support, and a smooth transition throughout their assignment.

Manage expatriate administration, including documentation, onboarding, and coordination with global and local payroll teams.

Oversee the delivery and accuracy of assignment compensation packages, ensuring alignment with company policy and statutory requirements.

Monitor compliance across all mobility processes, escalating risks and recommending solutions where needed.

Manage relationships with external mobility providers, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and adherence to contractual expectations.

Act as the primary point of contact for mobility‑related queries, connecting HR, business leaders, and external partners to ensure consistent and compliant processes.

Core Responsibilities

General oversight and coordination of global mobility secondments, including the management of frontier worker arrangements.

Support immigration processes; prior experience with immigration applications is advantageous.

Oversight of expatriate tax matters; an ATT qualification is highly desirable.

Manage external mobility vendors, with an emphasis on strong relationship‑building and client‑facing capability.

Skills and Competencies

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain updates, processes, and technical changes clearly to HR teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Excellent organisational skills, managing multiple deadlines, coordinating with various HR and business functions, prioritising effectively.

Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.

French language skills desirable.
