Store Specialists
plan, organize, and maintain the operations of a warehouse or storage facility. They order, receive, inspect supplies, materials, parts, equipment, and furniture; verify shipping documents; process invoices; coordinate vendors; fill requisitions; operate material handling equipment; perform inventory; and maintain inventory systems.
Responsibilities
Plan and organize warehouse operations.
Order, receive, and inspect supplies, materials, parts, equipment, and furniture.
Verify accuracy of shipping documents.
Process invoices for stock.
Contact vendors and departments to coordinate ordering and delivery.
Complete requisitions.
Operate material handling equipment.
Perform periodic inventory.
Maintain inventory systems.
Conditions of Employment Physical Ability:
This position requires occasional lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds and the ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, and stoop. Employees may be required to work outside continuously and be exposed to electricity, chemicals, heat, oil, odors, dust, gas, and noise.
Experience and Qualifications
Two (2) years of full‑time experience performing at least two of the following duties: receiving, storing, issuing, or inventorying materials in a warehouse environment.
OSHA certification for power‑lifting devices (forklift certification) is required.
Lead or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Computer experience and implementation of an automated system are highly encouraged.
Applicants must not have been convicted of a felony or currently be on court–ordered probation.
