Senior Executive Protection Specialist

Job Description The Executive Protection Specialist is responsible for providing discreet, proactive, and comprehensive physical security services for executive leadership and their families. This role supports executive safety through close protection, advance planning, threat assessment, secure transportation, residential security operations, and coordination with internal and external partners.

The ideal candidate demonstrates high operational discipline, strong judgment under pressure, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into executive and residential environments while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and a low‑profile presence.

Responsibilities Executive & Close Protection

Provide close protection to executives and family members at residences, offices, public venues, events, and during domestic and international travel.

Conduct executive transportation operations including airport/FBO pickups and drop-offs.

Maintain executive safety while supporting business objectives, privacy, and lifestyle continuity.

Conduct advance planning, route selection, site surveys, and vulnerability assessments.

Identify, assess, and mitigate physical security risks using protective intelligence and situational awareness.

Develop and execute security plans for executive travel, off‑site meetings, and special events.

Residential Security Operations

Support and execute residential security programs for high‑net‑worth principals.

Monitor and operate security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, and perimeter controls.

Conduct patrols, perimeter checks, and daily security briefings.

Detect, document, and report suspicious activity, security vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical events.

Coordinate with operations centers, intelligence teams, private security partners, and local law enforcement.

Execute emergency response, evacuation, and contingency procedures as required.

Leadership & Team Coordination

Serve as a team lead or shift lead when assigned, ensuring adherence to SOPs and operational standards.

Supervise and coordinate security personnel across multiple shifts or locations.

Support scheduling, payroll reporting, and performance accountability when applicable.

Communication & Professional Standards

Build trusted relationships with executives, family members, executive assistants, and internal stakeholders.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements and sensitive information.

Prepare clear written reports and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in executive protection, residential security, or armed protective operations.

Experience with residential security operations, access control, and CCTV systems.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

Valid passport with availability for short‑notice travel.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Proven ability to operate in armed protection roles where legally permitted.

Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and ability to remain composed under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits Details

An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.

You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short‑Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions and Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
