We are seeking a highly organized and motivated

Director of Operations

for our

Corporate/Manassas VA , location.

Job Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

Develop and implement long‑term construction strategies aligned with the company’s stated mission, core values and growth plan.

Collaborate with the Leaders across the enterprise, monitor, resource and right‑size BAU, growth, and special projects.

Collaborate with executive leadership (Engineering, Operations, Finance) on capital planning and investment strategy.

2. Project & Program Management

Oversee multiple simultaneous construction projects (e.g., new markets, upgrades, node splits).

Ensure adherence to project timelines, scopes, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Lead KPIs, monitor and report performance with any variance anomalies to executive leadership.

Monitor expenditures, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.

Drive cost efficiencies through vendor negotiation and process improvements.

Lead from the front, and mentor by example and mentor enterprise wide.

Establish and reinforce performance expectations for internal teams and third‑party contractors.

Approve vendor selection, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with SLAs.

4. Risk Management & Quality Assurance

Collaborate with internal leaders to Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, construction delays, permitting, or vendor performance.

Implement quality control standards to ensure network reliability and customer satisfaction.

Drive & deliver a best‑in‑class experience for our custom.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8–12+ years of progressive experience in operations, construction, or telecommunications, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Experience in fiber optic, broadband, or telecom construction environments strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional teams, including project managers, field teams, and vendors.

Extensive experience managing large‑scale, multi‑site construction or infrastructure projects simultaneously.

Experience driving KPIs, performance metrics, and operational reporting to executive leadership.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to travel as needed to support operations across multiple states.

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Hands‑on training and mentorship.
