Freelance Video Editor – Event Highlights

This role is ideal for a creative videographer with a passion for capturing dynamic event moments and transforming them into engaging video content. You will be responsible for filming brand activations and sponsored events on-site in New York, producing high-quality footage that supports marketing and social media initiatives. The position requires independence, adaptability, and the ability to deliver polished edits with quick turnaround times. Your work will directly contribute to elevating the brand’s presence through compelling visual storytelling.

Deliverables

Capture high-quality video footage at various brand activations and sponsored events in New York

Produce social media-ready video cuts, sizzle reels, and highlight videos for marketing campaigns

Ensure all deliverables are completed promptly following each event

Collaborate with marketing teams to align video content with brand messaging and objectives

Maintain organized files and manage video assets for easy access and future use

Requirements

Proven experience in event videography and video editing, preferably for marketing or social media

Proficiency with professional video equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)

Strong portfolio showcasing event coverage and highlight reels

Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
