JOB OVERVIEW
The Commercial Portfolio Risk Analyst is responsible for independent monitoring and analysis of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio, with emphasis on CRE concentration management, NAICS industry exposure, stress testing, construction loan risk oversight, and Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL/CECL) support.
This role provides risk transparency to executive management and the Board and supports regulatory compliance in a growth-oriented commercial banking environment.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for independent monitoring and analysis of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio, with emphasis on CRE concentration management, NAICS industry exposure, stress testing, construction loan risk oversight, and Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL/CECL) support. Monitoring is to be conducted through regular reporting that is to be accurate, efficient and timely. Represent the Bank to both internal and external customers in a courteous professional manner in face-to-face, written and telephone communications.
Accountable for adherence to compliance standards including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), effectiveness of communication materials and messages, as well as timely delivery of communication initiatives.
Actively protect confidentiality of Advisor, customer and internal organizational information. Demonstrate Horizon Bank’s commitment to the communities we serve through involvement in local organizations and events.
