About the Role
LEVER is looking for an organized, curious, and proactive early-career professional to join our team as an Associate Account Strategist through a structured intern-to-hire program. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing account management while building a long-term career at LEVER. As an Associate Account Strategist, you'll be embedded in one of our client pods, working closely with an Account Director and cross-functional teammates to keep client work running smoothly. You'll play a key role in day-to-day client communication, meeting preparation, reporting, and internal coordination. This position starts as a structured internship with a clear path to a full-time Associate Account Strategist role based on performance.
Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact alongside an Account Strategist for routine client communications, helping ensure requests, questions, and updates are addressed promptly Maintain regular communication with clients to share updates on campaign performance, deliverables, and upcoming initiatives Help prepare meeting agendas, gather relevant updates from the pod team, and work with the PM team to document follow-up actions after client calls Support the preparation and delivery of performance reports that clearly communicate campaign results, trends, and insights Coordinate internally to ensure client requests and campaign priorities are communicated to the right people on the pod team Track deliverables, timelines, and tasks alongside the Project Manager to keep work aligned with client expectations Assist the Account Strategist with research, presentations, and planning documents that support strategic client recommendations
Qualifications
Recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field Internship or coursework experience in account management, client services, marketing coordination, or a similar area; agency experience is a plus but not required
Required Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-ready presence Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of details Comfort working with marketing performance data and a willingness to learn how to translate results into client-friendly insights A collaborative mindset and eagerness to work across teams A proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate client needs and follow through
