Cloud Architect

IDR is seeking a Cloud Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role involves designing and developing solutions to complex business problems using cloud technologies, with a focus on enterprise cloud architecture and cloud-native strategies across various platform types. The company operates within the healthcare/philanthropy sector, providing innovative solutions to support their mission. Position Overview for the Cloud Architect: Provide strategic consultation to IT teams and leaders regarding cloud infrastructure and application development. Lead the design and development of architecture using AWS services, promoting a cloud-native strategy. Develop strategies for data movement from on-premise to cloud environments. Support Generative AI initiatives, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud platforms. Collaborate with security, data, and application teams to align AI workloads with enterprise standards and governance. Requirements for the Cloud Architect: 3-5 years of experience in software development, network engineering, or system administration with enterprise IT. Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts including service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud), and security. Proficiency in at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
