Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre are seeking a Social Media and Event Marketing Summer Intern for the 2026 summer event season. The intern will serve as an integral part of the Communications and Event Marketing team, supporting the business operations of Enterprise Center, Stifel Theatre, and STL Authentics Team Store, while developing skills in a fast‑paced, real‑world setting. Primary focus for this position will be assisting in the ideation and creation of engaging social content for use across venue channels, with an emphasis on video, photography and graphics. The position will also support other Event Marketing department needs including influencer program, artist gifting, backstage experience, administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
This is a part‑time, paid position working 15 hours per week. Rate of pay is $15/hr. Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 – September 4, 2026 (dates flexible based on securing full‑time employment and/or returning to higher education).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the ideation and creation of fun and engaging content for use across venue and retail social channels, including copywriting and graphic design
Shoot high‑quality video footage of fan experiences at venue events and edit content into post‑event recaps
Assist with photography and videography for Team Store products
Monitor venue and Team Store social channels for customer service‑related questions and requests
Brainstorm and execute creative storytelling ideas that align with brand messaging
Research relevant influencer collaborations
Work closely with the Social Media Manager to align with business goals
Assist the Marketing department with artist gifting, backstage welcomes and other administrative tasks throughout the season
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be pursuing or recently received a college degree, preferably in the fields of Communications, Marketing or Business
Desire to gain experience in social media and event venue marketing, with an emphasis in Communications or Marketing
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
Strong ethical standards and sense of confidentiality
Knowledge of social platforms, including the following:
Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok
Experience with photo/video editing and graphic creation programs such as:
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc.)
CapCut
Experience in video creation (social media, YouTube, film, broadcast, etc.)
Familiarity with DSLR cameras
Comfortable taking pictures and video on personal phone
Knowledge of social media trends, memes and formats
Familiarity with concerts, hockey and event‑based marketing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent multi‑tasking and organizational skills
Demonstrates professionalism, a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Hours/Time Commitment
Availability to work normal business hours, in addition to nights and weekends
Flexible, 15 hours a week
Must be able to work the entirety of the event season from June – Sept
