
Service Sales Representative

Think is seeking a Service Sales Representative (SSR) for a fire sprinkler client in Pasadena MD. This is a permanent salaried position, ideally seeking candidates that can work onsite in a hybrid capacity, but also open to candidates that can be onsite two weeks a month.
Duties:
The Service Sales Representative is responsible for securing inspection & service contracts for fire suppression systems. Specific duties are as follows:
Qualifications:
NICET ITWBS LEVEL II Preferred
3-5 years of sales experience in the fire sprinkler industry.
Experience in estimating fire sprinkler service repairs/inspections contracts.
Recognizing components such as wet, dry, and pre-action systems, as well as fire pumps and special hazard systems.
Strong desire to succeed and results-driven.
Ability to survey existing site and document current conditions prior to job construction.
Solid and effective presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
Competent in use of computers to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Organized, motivated, self-starter.
Candidates must successfully complete an employment background check, drug screening and hold a valid driver's license with good driving record.
Responsibilities:
Estimating, quoting and preparing proposals for service repairs, inspection/testing and tenant renovations in commercial, retail, and residential applications. Familiar with reading blueprints and understanding the application of current standards and local codes as well as NFPA 25 requirements. Relationship development with new and existing commercial/residential customers (Contractors and End Users) with the principal objective of bidding and securing contracts within approved pricing levels. Communication with established vendors and subcontractors. Service our customer needs (internal and external). Develop and apply proven sales approaches. Development of sales plan to achieve established goals with respect to bid volume, dollars sold, and closing ratios. Contact and Pipeline management.
