Overview This role is within the Digital Human Health (DHH) US Market Engagement Team, providing strategic thought partnership to US commercial stakeholders. The Associate Director will develop and communicate data‑driven insights that inform launch, go‑to‑market strategies, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business needs into analytical plans and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in market research, forecasting, analytics, data science, and competitive insights.

Analyze data from disparate databases, including claims/EMR and other sources, to inform commercial strategies.

Keep abreast of industry trends and analytical methodologies, including GenAI application.

Lead innovative experiments, ideation, and measurable experimentation to improve business processes.

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and business analysts.

Education Requirements

BS (or equivalent) in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Decision Science, Marketing, Engineering, Public Health, or related discipline.

MBA, MS, or PhD preferred.

Required Experience and Skills

5+ years delivering complex analytical projects in pharma, biotech, consulting, or healthcare.

Experience mining patient claims/EMR data and producing actionable insights.

Proficient in advanced analytics, machine learning, NLP, statistical modeling, and programming (Python, R, SAS, SQL).

Strong business acumen, consultative skills, and ability to translate business questions into analytical problems.

Leadership and project management skills; ability to manage a distributed team.

Innovative thinking with risk‑taking in AI/automation.

Awareness of responsible AI use and regulatory considerations.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Domain knowledge in immunology related to data analytics.

MBA, MS, or PhD (additional).

Experience with healthcare data (EHR, claims/EMR, IQVIA APLD).

Eligibility and Employment Details US and Puerto Rico Residents Only.

The position is hybrid; employees will work three on‑site days per week, with Friday remote, unless business critical. Travel may be required up to 10%.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $156,900 – $247,000. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, retirement (401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate/sick days.
