After a training workshop, dialogue facilitators receive extensive feedback through session debriefs following each session. The facilitator’s purpose is to spark dialogue among participants. Student affiliates work with the Project on Civic Dialogue to support our affiliated courses and events and provide students with interactive learning opportunities.**Essential Functions:*** Creating and leading discussion sessions.* Designing interactive learning opportunities such as moot court case records, fact patterns, and dialogue exercises.* Support for interactive learning exercises.* Event planning and execution.* Other duties assigned.**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:*** Part-time.* 10 hours per week.**Salary Range:*** $17.95 per hour.**Required Education and Experience:*** Completion of the relevant course.**Preferred Education and Experience:*** Completion of Government-184 (Dialogue for Civic Engagement).**Other Details*** **This position is available only to enrolled American University students.*** Please note this job announcement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
