Responsibilities

Maintain all golf course areas and maintenance facility, including use of hand-held equipment (weed eater, self-propelled walking mower, backpack and push blowers, fly-mower, edger, rake and shovel, dew whips, core pusher, picks and pitchforks, level lawn).

Operate utility cart safely, keeping feet inside the cart.

Maintain sprinkler heads and valve boxes.

Maintain bunkers and cart paths (edge and blow).

Walk, mow greens and tees.

Daily cleanup of equipment and facility.

Blow fairways and rough.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report issues or repairs needed to the Equipment Manager.

Spread pine and hardwood mulch three times per week (stand, load/unload mulch and hand spread).

Perform all other duties as required by supervision.

Safety Responsibilities and Requirements

Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment according to the company safety and training programs.

Use personal protective equipment as trained and required: safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, sunscreen, gloves, seatbelts.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Report safety or hazard concerns to management.

Report any on‑job injury to management immediately.

Take personal responsibility for safety every day.

Report equipment issues to Equipment Manager immediately.

Qualifications

Prefer previous experience on a golf course or construction site (including heavy equipment use).

Operate equipment with precision and care.

Must be able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions.

Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail.

Open to receiving feedback regarding performance.

Punctuality is a must.

Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette is a plus.

Schedule

Golf Course Maintenance operates 7 days per week. Employees must be available to work weekends and overtime hours as required.
