What You’ll Do
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Clio’s practice area verticals
Drive adoption, engagement, and growth of vertical‑specific features and workflows
Develop deep expertise across multiple legal domains (e.g., Personal Injury, Family Law, Immigration), including case lifecycles, documentation, billing, and outcomes
Identify common patterns and opportunities to scale solutions across practice areas while preserving necessary specialization
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal to deliver impactful solutions
Lead customer discovery efforts across different practice areas to uncover unmet needs
Manage and prioritize a portfolio of initiatives balancing vertical depth with platform scalability
Lead and grow a team of Product Managers aligned to practice area verticals
Collaborate with go-to‑market teams to ensure successful launches and strong adoption within each segment
Identify opportunities to expand Clio’s footprint into new or underserved practice areas
What You’ll Bring
10+ years proven experience leading SaaS products, ideally in legal tech or verticalized software
Experience building products for specific industries or domains (legal experience strongly preferred; exposure to Personal Injury or similar high‑complexity areas is a plus)
Demonstrated success balancing customization for verticals with scalable platform thinking
Experience leading and developing high‑performing product teams
Strong stakeholder management skills in a cross‑functional, matrixed environment
Strategic mindset with the ability to dive deep into execution details
Strong customer empathy and passion for solving domain‑specific problems
Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity across diverse problem spaces
Other
Occasional travel may be required for customer visits, industry events, and team collaboration

The expected salary range for this role is $215,500 to $269,400 to $323,300 USD. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency. In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.
*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
