Description Reporting to the Admitting Registration Manager, this position is responsible for registering patients by obtaining individual demographic and financial data for the patient’s permanent record. The individual should be able to admit or register patients in an accurate and timely manner. Performs related duties such as receiving payments, accounting for said collections, insurance verification, processing documents, answering multi-line phone system and so forth.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Knowledge of collection policy preferred but not required.
Skills: Must be able to type 30 wpm; ability to multi-task, provide exceptional customer service, collect money, and handle stressful situations required.
Typical Physical Demands
Walking, sitting, and standing.
Some bending and stooping is required with lifting up to 10 pounds.
