What We're Looking For We are looking for a Financial Editor to join our Analysis department, working remotely as part of our global editorial team.
Responsibilities
Review and decide on publication of financial analysis and macro‑focused articles.
Make sound decisions on 15‑20 articles per day from independent contributors.
Edit drafts for clarity, consistency, and relevance to investors, then publish them on the Seeking Alpha website.
Work with contributors to ensure they deliver high‑quality, relevant content.
Display strong editing and content management skills with a commitment to quality and timely deliverables.
Build constructive relationships with contributors through feedback and email responses.
Gain an in‑depth understanding of Seeking Alpha’s CMS, working processes, and editorial policies.
Contribute to seamless global workflow across U.S., Israel, and India teams.
Requirements
Advanced understanding of the financial markets, especially the U.S. stock market.
Relevant work or education in finance or investment markets (CFA or accreditation preferred but not mandatory).
Knowledge of valuation methodologies such as DCF analysis.
Preferably 2‑5 years of professional digital editorial experience in finance, business, or related fields.
Ability to quickly grasp editorial policies, work processes, and style guidelines.
Commitment to helping analysts present ideas most effectively.
Superior organizational skills and close attention to detail.
Capacity to work independently, exercise good judgment, and assume increasing responsibility.
Strong time‑management skills and self‑discipline for remote work.
Familiarity with Seeking Alpha’s CMS and website a plus, but not required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
Salary range: $70,000‑$80,000 per year, dependent on experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
