This is not a traditional social role.
As SVP, Social & Content Strategy Lead, you will define and shape what social and content mean for one of the most influential brands in the world. Sitting at the center - you will lead the evolution of an always-on, insight-driven, culturally relevant content ecosystem that connects brand, business, and audience in meaningful ways.
This role requires a rare blend of strategic leadership, category expertise, client partnership, and hands-on craft. You are as comfortable advising senior clients as you are shaping the work. You see social and content as inseparable—and as a growth engine for the business.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of ~20 strategists, partnering across creative, media, data, and platform teams to deliver integrated, future-forward solutions.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Define the Vision
Architect a modern, always-on social and content ecosystem - one that is audience-first, insight-led, and culturally fluent
Champion a unified view of content and social as a single, connected discipline
Set the strategic direction across brand, campaign, and real-time initiatives
Lead at the Highest Level
Serve as a senior client confidante and trusted advisor, building relationships that extend beyond briefs into business partnership
Bring a strong, informed POV on the landscape, identifying opportunities for differentiation and growth
Represent leadership in key client forums, shaping decisions and influencing outcomes
Drive Strategic Excellence
Lead the development of breakthrough social and content strategies grounded in audience insight, platform behavior, and business objectives
Elevate the team’s thinking across content development, distribution, engagement, and measurement
Push the boundaries of what’s possible—introducing new formats, platforms, partnerships, and ways of working
Build & Lead a High-Performing Team
Oversee a team of ~20 spanning VP/Group Director through junior strategists
Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement
Balance and elevate diverse leadership strengths across:
Holistic social/content strategy and innovation
Operational excellence, team development, and staffing
Deep social platform expertise and best-in-class execution
Act as a mentor and coach, developing the next generation of leaders
Be a Hands-On Leader
Stay close to the work—guiding key briefs, shaping outputs, and elevating quality
Operate as both thinker and doer, stepping in where needed to unlock progress
Build new frameworks, processes, and ways of working that enable speed, quality, and innovation
Integrate Across GroupeConnect
Partner seamlessly with strategy, creative, media, data, and production teams
Ensure social and content strategies are fully integrated into broader marketing ecosystems
Help define what “Power of One” looks like in practice - connected, cohesive, and client-centric
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Expertise
12–15+ years in social, content, and/or integrated strategy
Financial services category experience with a strong understanding of the landscape
Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams
Track record of building and scaling modern content ecosystems for major brands
Strategic & Creative Leadership
A holistic view of social and content—seeing them as interconnected, not siloed
Strong instincts for culture, audience behavior, and platform evolution
Ability to turn complex business challenges into clear, compelling strategies

Compensation Range: $176,700-276,210. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
