Part-time Social Media & Content Support

Hi — I’m looking for a detail‑oriented social media/content person to support two small, locally based creative businesses. This role is best suited to someone who has a strong eye for visual storytelling and can create content that feels thoughtful, elevated, and aligned with a design‑forward brand. Scope of Work Plan and create Instagram content (photo + video) Edit short‑form video (Reels) Write clear, natural captions (no heavy marketing tone) Help shape content direction and consistency Occasional content days (filming or photos of us working) Requirements Experience creating social media or visual content Confidence shooting and editing video content Strong visual eye (composition, lighting, pacing) Organized, reliable, and self‑directed Based in Salt Spring Ideal (but not required) Photography experience Ability to balance polished visuals with real, in‑process content Details Flexible, part‑time (a few hours per week to start) Opportunity for ongoing monthly work + content shoot days Base rate is $45/hour but this could be negotiated for the right candidate and level of experience How to Apply A short intro about yourself A few examples of photos, videos, or social media content you’ve created (Instagram, portfolio, or similar — nothing formal needed) Any relevant experience working with creative projects Email is preferred.
