Position Overview
Joyce is seeking an Event Marketing Team Lead for the Charlotte and Columbia markets to drive lead generation and appointment setting at events while leading a team from the front.
This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you will actively engage homeowners, generate leads, and set appointments. You will set the tone for performance, coach your team in real time, and lead by example in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
Compensation
This role includes a base salary plus bonus incentives.
Compensation Includes
Base salary: $45,000
$500/month car allowance
$100/month phone allowance
Performance bonuses based on lead generation and appointments set
What You'll Do
Generate leads and set appointments with homeowners at events
Actively engage attendees and create interest in Joyce products
Lead from the front by demonstrating high‑performance lead generation
Coach and motivate team members on‑site to improve results
Help new team members ramp up quickly through hands‑on training
Support event setup and teardown as part of a hands‑on team environment
Drive daily performance and hit lead targets at each event
Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and appointment targets
You'll Be a Good Fit If You Have
1–2+ years of event marketing, retail sales, canvassing or lead‑generation experience
Desire to grow into leadership through performance and leading by example
Comfortable approaching strangers and starting conversations
Willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte and Columbia markets
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require
A results‑driven mindset focused on lead generation
Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment
