About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Strategic Marketing and Communications to lead a transformative rebranding and public relaunch, positioning the organization as a national leader in anti-poverty and policy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the external voice and public image, leading innovative marketing and storytelling strategies, and creating a cohesive brand that drives meaningful change. This executive will also oversee the organization's marketing and communications strategy across various initiatives, ensuring a consistent and dynamic brand identity. A key focus will be on delivering high-impact marketing campaigns, particularly those that are culturally relevant and reach diverse communities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, values-driven leader with a deep understanding of how narrative influences public opinion and policy outcomes. They should have a proven track record in leading integrated, high-volume, and multilingual campaigns, and be adept at engaging with policymakers, media, and community partners. The role requires a leader who is fluent in the political and advocacy landscape, both at the state and national level, and who is committed to equity-centered communication. The Chief will also be responsible for building and empowering a high-performing team, modernizing communication strategies, and ensuring the organization's story resonates across all channels and partnerships. A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in communications, marketing, digital strategy, or narrative change, and at least 5 years in senior leadership and team management, is required.
