Job Title: Social Media with Admin and Bookkeeping Experience Client: Australian Work Hours: 20 hours week VA rate: $5/hour Job Description: The client has pet product and wellness brand, is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Virtual Assistant to support their growing business. The VA will play a key role in managing the brands social media presence, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with basic graphic design. This is a remote position for individuals who love pets, understand content marketing, and have a flair for visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management Create and schedule engaging, pet-related content for Instagram and Facebook Organize weekly and monthly content calendars using Canva Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages professionally Repurpose client-supplied photos and videos into branded, high-quality posts Track content performance and provide insights or suggestions for improvement Graphic Design & Content Creation Format marketing materials, social posts, and simple digital assets using Canva Design aesthetically pleasing and on-brand visuals to promote products and pet wellness content Administrative Support Maintain and update spreadsheets (e.g., inventory, content tracking, client records) Assist with email communication and simple bookkeeping tasks Prepare reports or summaries upon request Format documents and internal files as needed Requirements & Expectations: Strong command of written and spoken English 1+ year of experience in social media management (Instagram, Facebook preferred) Skilled in Canva and comfortable designing marketing creatives Reliable internet connection and availability for weekly check-ins Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines Passion for pets and interest in wellness-related topics is a plus Willing to take initiative and bring creative content ideas to the table Must be able to start immediately and commit to a minimum of 20 hours/week Availability to attend a video call interview with the client during the onboarding process To Apply: Please submit your resume and a portfolio of relevant experience and availability.
