Our distinguished client, one of the most prominent law firms in the Carolinas, is seeking a highly skilled and professional Trust & Estates Legal Secretary/Assistant to join their elite legal team. Position Summary: Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys specializing in Trusts and Estates, including drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents. Coordinate and manage client communications, scheduling consultations, and maintaining regular follow-ups to ensure exceptional client service. Assist in preparing for estate administration, including gathering financial records, preparing inventories, and managing probate filings. Conduct research on estate planning and tax issues and ensure all work complies with federal and state laws. Maintain and organize confidential case files, correspondence, and attorney schedules using the firm's document and case management systems. Assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings, as required. Liaise with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals involved in the estate planning process. Handle administrative duties such as filing, billing, and tracking deadlines for various estate and trust matters.
