McSweeney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Service Porter to join our team in Pell City, AL. The Service Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dealership Service Department and lot, ensuring that vehicles are properly moved, detailed, and prepared for service and customer pickup. This person will also assist with pickup and delivery of customers vehicles on and offsite. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Move vehicles safely around the lot and service areas as needed
Keep the dealership lot clean, organized, and free of debris
Assist service technicians by bringing cars into service bays
Ensure all vehicles are properly washed and detailed before customer pickup
Assist with pickup or delivery of customer vehicles on or offsite
Help maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned by the service manager
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record a MUST
Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles safely
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
