Job Summary
Crain Hyundai of Fort Smith is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are clean, properly parked, and ready for customer viewing and test drives.
Key Responsibilities
Move vehicles around the lot as needed, including parking, staging, and delivering vehicles to customers or service departments.
Maintain cleanliness of the dealership lot by picking up trash, sweeping, and washing vehicles.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any damage or maintenance needs to management.
Assist with vehicle preparation, including fueling and cleaning interiors and exteriors.
Support the sales and service teams by promptly delivering vehicles and keys.
Ensure all vehicles are parked in designated areas and organized for optimal lot appearance.
Follow all safety protocols and dealership policies while operating vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized lot.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting as required.
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The Lot Porter will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
