Entry‑Level HVAC Installer
Position Summary
Allied Aire, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry‑Level HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Cornelius, NC. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the heating and air conditioning industry. You will assist lead installers with the installation of residential HVAC systems while learning the trade through hands‑on training.
Responsibilities
Assist with installation of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and air handlers
Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC equipment
Carry and move tools, materials, and equipment safely
Loading, unloading and stocking of materials
Assist with installation of ductwork, thermostats, and related components
Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
Provide professional and courteous service to customers
Learn HVAC installation procedures and best practices
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to process both written and verbal English language skills
No HVAC experience required – training provided
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50‑75 lbs regularly
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, insurable by co. insurance carrier
Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required)
Trade school or HVAC school experience
Basic hand tool and ladder knowledge
EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay based on experience $18–$21 per hour base
