Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark in various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.00-$14.00, depending on your skills and experience.
Paid training.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are between 4-10 hours per week.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, monitor inventory, and communicate with your supervisor. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.
Holiday support: Support additional days and extended hours during peak holiday periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) and sometimes work on the holidays themselves.
Department resets: Participate in installations, moving card departments, and resetting card sections, typically with two weeks’ notice. Tasks may require evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration: Support other merchandiser team members as needed in their territories.
Physical Requirements This job is physically demanding. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds). You should also be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders throughout the work day.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to grasp, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to operate a digital handheld device, read documents, and interpret information.
Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
