Position Overview
Calicraft Brewing Co. is a growing craft brewery focused on producing high-quality, innovation and consistency with creativity and care. We value a strong work ethic, teamwork focused mentality, attention to detail, and a passion for craft brewing.
We are seeking a motivated Craft Brewer & Cellar Worker to assist with all aspects of beer production, from grain to glass. This hands‑on role supports daily brewing operations, cellar work, packaging, and general brewery maintenance.
Key Responsibilities Brewhouse Duties:
Assist with milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and wort transfer
Follow brew recipes and production schedules
Monitor and record brew day data
Clean and sanitize brewhouse equipment
Monitor fermentation and record gravity, temperature, and pH
Perform dry hopping, yeast harvesting, tank transfers and centrifuging
Clean and sanitize fermenters and brite tanks (CIP)
Assist with carbonation and clarification
Packaging & Warehouse:
Support kegging, canning, and bottling operations
Clean and maintain kegs
Labeling and packaging finished product
Maintain organized and sanitary workspace
Assist with inventory and raw material handling
Qualifications
Prior brewery experience preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to lift 55+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in wet, hot, and cold environments
Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
Team‑oriented with good communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
Formal brewing education
Mechanical aptitude
Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
