Job Description Join Our Coaching Staff!
The Upper Perkiomen School District is seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our coaching staff. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about mentoring student-athletes, fostering teamwork, and promoting personal growth through sports.
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of sport-specific rules and gameplay (e.g., soccer or basketball).
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare student-athletes both physically and mentally for practices and competitions, with a focus on skill development and understanding of the game.
Support the growth and organization of the athletic program.
Lead and attend practices and games on weekday evenings and Saturdays.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, fellow coaches, faculty, and school administration.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment during practices, games, locker room activities, and transportation.
Complete and submit all necessary documentation by deadlines set by the Athletic Department.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
School Personnel Health Form (including Physical and TB test)
PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
