Overview For this entry-level broker role, we are looking for a self-starter, entrepreneurial personality looking for a highly successful and lucrative career as a retail investment broker. As a retail investment broker, you will be a part of a talented and driven team that thrives on working together in a fast-paced environment and using teamwork to create sale opportunities. We are seeking a relationship-oriented individual with a complete openness to exceptional sales and retail training. The retail investment broker trainee will go through a thorough training program giving the agent a solid foundation of financial analysis, market research, sales training, and excellent marketing tools in order to have a long and successful career. In the first phase of training, the agent will be paid a salary to build a foundation of financial analysis and market research assisting the current team of investment brokers in the firm. Thereafter, the agent will work as part of a team with an experienced senior broker for further training on sales fundamentals, business development, client interaction, and marketing of properties.

Objective Roles as a Junior Broker

Be responsible for the end-to-end management of deals for the sale of retail properties, ensuring a successful outcome for the client

Act as the main point of contact between property owners and prospective buyers to ensure a smooth process for all parties.

List retail properties for sale, and attract and negotiate with interested buyers

Negotiate and prepare needed paperwork (marketing brochures, offers to purchase, contracts, etc.) required for the sale of a property

Perform comparative market analysis to accurately value retail properties

Conduct research on the local market and stay up-to-date on industry trends

Build your own extensive targeted client database

Provide agent a proven training program in which to launch a successful career as a retail investment sales broker

Formulate detailed-analyses of clients' properties, including broker opinions of value (BOV), market comparable, and research

Prepare marketing materials for exclusive property listings and market to qualified buyers

Prospect new client relationships, and network with other industry professionals

Negotiate exclusive listing agreements, and purchase and sale agreements

Prepare and manage internal databases to ensure most up-to-date property and client information is on record

Participate in best-in-class training and ongoing skills-development workshops

Partner closely with other members of staff to ensure knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration
