Creating weekly social media posts to cover all areas of the recreation department, including club sports, fitness centers, intramurals, and aquatics. Managing a social media calendar/schedule via Hootsuite. Maintaining waivers and tracking system for image/likeness usage on recreation marketing materials. Content and design creation for the Villanova recreation website and marketing materials to be dispersed around campus. Creating and publishing a monthly newsletter via MailChimp. Attending biweekly meetings to discuss upcoming marketing needs and projects. Various other marketing projects as assigned. Requirements
Working knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram (including Reels), Twitter, and TikTok and staying up to date with current social media trends. Ability to represent the Villanova recreation brand (including university color/verbiage guidelines) in a way that engages the target audience while reflecting Villanova's mission and values appropriately. Comfort with various marketing tools/software systems (or willingness to learn how to utilize them) including Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, AEM, etc. Posting Detail Information
