Join our Festival Foods team as a Fresh Cut Produce Associate! Must have availability to start at 6am during the week including Saturday availability. Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk Reports to: Produce Department Manager / Fresh Cut Manager In this role, you’ll help ensure our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters for daily life, gatherings, or special occasions. Your ability to keep the fresh cut department stocked and ready will encourage guests to return for their entertaining needs. What You’ll Do
Maintain Freshness:
Maintain appropriate stock levels in the fresh cut department by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed. Provide Exceptional Service:
Deliver outstanding service to all guests. Assist guests in finding what they’re looking for, and resolve guest concerns to ensure satisfaction. Ensure Cleanliness:
Keep the department clean by organizing and sanitizing work areas, shelving, and sales floors as needed. Monitor Quality & Food Safety:
Ensure all quality standards are met, including maintaining accurate food safety logs and meeting quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm. Honor Commitments:
Regular, timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. Support the Team:
Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For
Strong Communication Skills:
Ability to engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Use strong written and verbal skills to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Safety Awareness:
Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety. Equipment Proficiency:
Ability to use equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, WAVs, balers, and compactors. Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands and work environment listed describe the requirements to successfully perform essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
