Turn on your Island Charm... Latitude Margaritaville Watersound is looking for a Part‑Time Lifestyle Event Assistant to join our team!
Purpose The Latitude Lifestyle Event Assistant provides a wide variety of administrative, clerical, and event support services. Performs office work directly related to lifestyle programming, event organization, and the general business operations of the lifestyle department. May assist with homeowner communications, flyer and event email creation, control of records and reports regarding lifestyle operations. Helps ensure that lifestyle deadlines are met and managed in compliance with FSR standards and practices as well as authentically delivering the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Assists in the creation and maintenance of event registrations for Lifestyle activities.
Assists and coordinates event information in Banquet Event Order (BEO) form and communicates updates with other departments as needed for events.
Demonstrates ability to comfortably address large groups of people.
Maintains lifestyle supply closet.
Is able to assist Lifestyle Director with event registrations, execution, and clean up.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean work area.
Coordinates and updates community partner's lists.
Assists in other tasks as assigned by Lifestyle Director as it relates to the department.
Education/Training
Associate’s degree with concentration in business or marketing preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience /Knowledge/Abilities
Must possess strong administrative background.
Must have strong editing and proofreading abilities.
Microsoft Office software knowledge and ability to create and edit documents.
Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Understands and can competently operate audio/visual equipment.
Ability to prioritize work and occasionally multitask with minimum supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, office management and communication skills.
Self‑starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Computer Literacy
Must be tech and web savvy and able to navigate back‑office programs.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Special Requirements
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing.
Required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
Talking on the phone for extended periods of time.
Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
Ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekend, and attend events as required.
