Key Responsibilities

Joint ownership with senior Mortgage Specialists in advising and delivering residential real estate solutions for JP Morgan Private Bank Clients

Daily proactive management of the loan origination process, including liaising with clients, coordinating with key internal partners and third parties (attorneys, title companies, CPAs, etc); submission of mortgage applications, completion of pricing analyses, and coordination of all steps needed for an efficient and timely closing of each deal

Respond efficiently and effectively to client and internal inquiries

Assist with the underwriting development process, including identifying thorough financial packages for underwriting purposes, proactively identifying and solving potential underwriting issues, and detailed credit‑risk analysis

Ensuring client needs and expectations are consistently met and/or exceeded

Respond to data‑quality questions and research/resolve all issues

On‑The‑Job Training

Identify and structure mortgage loan opportunities during conversations with clients, bankers and/or other integrated team members

Analyze client balance sheets and cash flow to formulate a mortgage solution that meets the client's needs and is consistent with the firm's risk parameters

Coordinate the application, origination and closing process end‑to‑end, including receipt of all necessary documentation from clients and/or bankers

Serve as a subject‑matter expert for our clients and internal partners

Partner with senior Mortgage Specialists to market and promote JP Morgan's mortgage solutions platform to JP Morgan banking partners, clients, prospects, and third‑party centers of influence

Key Requirements

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent time‑management and organizational skills; sense of urgency & critical thinking

Ability to handle a high volume of client and banker communication and requests for information while multitasking

Self‑motivated and ability to facilitate change

Ability to consistently deliver accurate and organized work

Exemplary professional disposition, presence, punctuality and ownership over professional development

Strong partnership and relationship‑building skills to work effectively with internal teams (bankers, lending specialists, underwriters, etc.) and external constituents as needed for each transaction

Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set and location.
