Mid

All Source Analyst

to join our team in

Fort Meade, MD

in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). DIA provides intelligence on foreign militaries and their operating environments so the United States and its allies can prevent and decisively win wars. It serves everyone from the president to the soldier in combat through a combination of expert analysis, intelligence gathering, and cutting‑edge science and technology.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.

Provide all‑source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

Provide all‑source analysis to include: research, evaluation and deconfliction of single‑source classified reporting, technical intrusion information, other agency all‑source finished intelligence, open‑source information and other relevant data.

Categorize and characterize cyber threats and malware to help identify trends and changes in the activities of the cyber adversaries.

Adhere to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) all‑source analytic tradecraft and standards.

Establish and maintain communications with counterparts in the Intelligence Community, the USCYBERCOM service components, other combatant commands, Cyber National Mission Force, Department of Homeland Security/NCSD, CERTS and Information Assurance Centers to collaborate on analysis and identification changes in the environment (This is done only at the direction of USCYBERCOM leadership and in accordance with the guidance of government sponsors within assigned division).

Maintain cognizance of events occurring both within the U.S. government systems and internationally as directed to identify possible relationships to established knowledge base.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of All‑Source experience supporting military intelligence or cyberspace operations.

Experience in the US Intelligence Community (IC).

Experience with the integration of DoD and IC support capabilities.

Knowledge of commonly used IC databases and tools.

Ability to provide All‑Source intelligence analysis and assessments pertaining to the cyberspace domain.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.

Preferred Qualifications

Eight or more years of experience as an All‑Source analyst supporting military intelligence or Cyberspace operations.

Experience with exercise support.

Knowledge of overall Cyberspace trends, analysis, and operations related to computer network defense in the DoDIN and national level communities.

Knowledge of GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS).

Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and ability to pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.

Knowledge of DoD analytical writing and final cyber analytical products.

Experience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly‑collaborative team environment.

Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
