Our client, a sportswear brand, is seeking a
Technical Designer
to join their team on a contract basis in their Niles, Illinois office.

Responsibilities: Conduct fit sessions on live models/ dress forms and perform measurements Lead the technical design process from concept to production Create, update, and maintain tech packs including detailed sketches, measurements, construction notes, and material callouts. Suggest construction improvements for better fit, cost efficiency, and manufacturability Establish block patterns and grading rules Maintain fit comments/ construction notes after fittings Track sample development (proto, fit, PP samples) and ensure timelines are met Ensure garments meet brand standards for fit, quality, and performance Partner with design, merchandising, and production teams throughout the product lifecycle Requirements: 5+ years of experience working in technical design Proficiency in Centric PLM systems Ability to accurately measure garments on live models Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and how they impact fit and performance Must have attention to detail & organization skills Please submit your resume for consideration.
