A well-established international freight forwarder is looking to add an experienced
Ocean Export Coordinator
to its growing Chicago team. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will take full ownership of ocean export shipments and play a key role in delivering high-quality service to global clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end ocean export shipments (FCL & LCL) Coordinate bookings with carriers, agents, and clients Prepare and process export documentation (B/L, AES filings, invoices, etc.) Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers Resolve any shipment issues proactively and efficiently Work closely with internal teams including pricing and operations What Were Looking For: 2+ years experience in ocean export within a freight forwarding environment Strong knowledge of export documentation and compliance Experience handling FCL and LCL shipments Familiarity with systems such as CargoWise (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset Why Apply: Join a stable, globally recognised logistics provider Supportive team environment with clear structure Opportunity to grow within a well-established operation Competitive salary and benefits package
