Developer Relations & Community Lead — Bay Area

Role: Developer Relations & Community Lead
Community‑Led Growth
Develop and maintain trust‑based relationships with key technical communities across North America, including independent developers, open‑source maintainers, technical bloggers, AI researchers, and startup builders
Engage and support technical KOCs to drive early adoption and organic word‑of‑mouth growth
Represent the company across developer groups, AI forums, and technical meetups
API Adoption & Product GTM
Drive API usage by helping developers understand model capabilities, best practices, integration patterns, and real use cases
Analyze the activation funnel and identify opportunities to improve onboarding, retention, and expansion
Work closely with product teams to enhance developer experience (documentation, sample apps, onboarding flows)
Community Operations & Content
Manage English‑language social channels including X, Reddit, Discord, and LinkedIn
Publish compelling technical content and participate in community discussions
Build scalable community programs such as onboarding sequences, incentive programs, and developer advocacy tracks
Offline Events & University Engagement
Plan and execute developer events in the Bay Area, such as Hackathons, Workshops, AMAs, and Meetups
Build relationships with top AI academic labs and student organizations
Support presence at major AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR)
Insights & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Gather developer feedback and share insights with product, engineering, and GTM teams
Support employer brand visibility and talent attraction efforts in the US market
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above; Computer Science or AI‑related background preferred
Genuine understanding of LLMs, multimodal AI, and developer workflows
Fluency in English and Chinese , with strong writing, presentation, and community‑facing communication skills
Experience in GTM, Developer Relations, developer community operations, open‑source ecosystems, or API‑driven products
Highly social, self‑driven, and comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments
Must be based in the Bay Area
