Position Summary Audio engineering of WUNC remote events, including PA systems, recorded events and assisting live remote broadcasts. In‑house computer desktop support and occasional in‑studio broadcast work. Responsibilities Set up and operate audio equipment for remote events. Assist with live remote broadcasts and recorded events. Provide desktop computer support. Perform occasional in‑studio broadcast tasks. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalency and completion of a two‑year technical school program in electronics; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Preferred Experience Experience with audio, live (spoken word) sound. Experience with remote audio set‑up. Experience with computer desktop support. Experience with Audio over IP (AoIP). Physical/Mental Requirements Must be able to move up to 50 lbs., ascend/descend stairs (and possibly ladders), and drive to off‑site locations for live sound/recording. Location and Hours North Carolina, US. 20 hours per week with some flexibility, including evening and weekend work. Salary $30.00 – $35.00 per hour.
