Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive copywriter to join our team at thyssenkrupp Materials NA. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role is responsible for developing high-quality, engaging content that supports our marketing and communications objectives. The candidate will lead content development, conduct interviews with subject matter experts, and translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content for diverse audiences and formats. Responsibilities External Marketing Writing: Create compelling and persuasive content for external marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, and social media posts. Conduct stakeholder interviews independently or with team members. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs. Research industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to inform content. Ensure all marketing content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style. Proactively propose new content topics and formats to engage audiences and enhance brand visibility. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content. Translate complex technical information into clear and user‑friendly content for diverse audiences. Internal Communications & Content Development Create engaging internal communications that inform, align and connect employees across the organization. Support internal initiatives through content such as announcements, leadership communications, and program updates. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather insights and ensure accuracy and clarity of messaging. Translate complex business updates and operational topics into clear, easy‑to‑understand communications. Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field; or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or a related role. Proven experience writing for both external marketing and internal communications. Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels. A collaborative mindset with experience generating and refining ideas to elevate content impact. Strategic thinking about content development, including identifying new topics and formats that support broader business goals. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CMS and digital marketing tools preferred. Compensation US$64,000 per year plus Performance Incentive Compensation.
