Summary of Duties
The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the successful launch, implementation, and adoption of Merit Oncology products that transform the breast cancer surgery care pathway. This role bridges product strategy and field execution, ensuring sales teams and clinical customers are fully enabled to adopt Merit Oncology products and eliminate traditional localization procedures. Partnering cross‑functionally with Product Marketing, Sales and Clinical teams, this position leads field readiness for new product launches and enhancements, develops sales enablement tools, and supports in‑field execution. The Field Marketing Manager also works closely with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support education, peer‑to‑peer programs, clinical advocacy, and feedback that informs product evolution and commercialization strategy. Through strong field engagement and market insight, this role plays a key part in driving adoption, utilization, and long‑term growth of the Merit Oncology portfolio.
Essential Functions Performed
Develops and executes marketing strategy, plans, and forecasts.
Performs market research functions—including collection, dissemination, and analysis of industry, medical procedures, competitor information, and market trends and opportunities.
Identifies new markets and growth opportunities and develops strategic business plan.
Manages product portfolio, including price analysis, new product launches, and campaigns.
Works with marketing communications to develop collateral for campaigns in brochures and general print media.
May manage department employees by interviewing, hiring, coordinating work assignments, training, evaluating work, disciplining, and other related duties.
Supports field readiness and execution for new product launches, including sales training, launch tools, and in‑field enablement.
Collaborates closely with Sales, Clinical, and Customer‑facing teams to support product adoption and implementation in the field.
Gathers and communicates field feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategy and product development.
Supports key opinion leader (KOL) engagement and field‑based educational initiatives, including meetings, events, and peer‑to‑peer programs.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and six years of marketing experience.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively and to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated computer skills – preferably spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint, Adobe, Canva, AquityMD, CRM and other applicable software programs.
Ability to understand and communicate clinical workflows and translate them into field tools, training and customer programs.
Proven ability to develop and deliver training (in‑person and virtual), including sales meetings, customer education, and launch workshops.
Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) or clinical champions to support education, peer‑to‑peer programs, and field insight.
Experience executing regional programs, events, workshops, and congress support to drive adoption and utilization.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare professional written and oral presentations and market analysis.
Worldwide/global marketing experience – a plus.
Ability to travel up to 40–60% to support launches, trainings, tradeshows and KOL/customer engagement.
