The successful candidate will be tasked with creating a global brand vision that not only promotes play and imagination but also deeply connects with the essence of sports. This role is pivotal in driving the brand's narrative, leading innovative marketing campaigns, and forging strategic partnerships with athletes, leagues, and influencers. The VP will also be responsible for aligning with R&D to ensure the launch of cutting-edge product lines, managing a large marketing team, and overseeing substantial budgets to achieve measurable growth. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in brand marketing, with a significant portion at the VP or Sr. Director level, and a proven track record in consumer products, toys, sports, or entertainment. The role requires expertise in global brand storytelling, digital marketing, and experiential activations, as well as a strong background in managing large-scale, cross-border campaigns. The ideal candidate will be adept at budget management, P&L ownership, and delivering ROI-driven growth. A passion for shaping culture, building movements, and creating unforgettable experiences is essential, as is the ability to champion sustainability and responsible play in brand positioning. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, and the role demands a leader who is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
