Director of Asset Management

We are seeking a high-performing Director of Asset Management who will lead the strategic and operational management of our Industrial portfolio, with a focus on maximizing asset value, optimizing returns, and driving long-term growth. This role oversees asset and property management teams and works closely with leasing, finance, and executive leadership to execute investment and portfolio strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure assets are well-maintained, compliant, and efficient.

Communicate to senior management/stakeholders the attributes of each investment owned and market dynamics.

Review and present recommendations on new prospective industrial development, core and value-add acquisition transactions within appropriate risk/return parameters.

Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and prepare investment memoranda supporting new investments and dispositions.

Develop and maintain key relationships in the assigned markets with property managers, leasing agents, and investment sales brokers.

Create annual asset business plans and budgets.

Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance returns.

Lead evaluations for dispositions and refinancing opportunities.

Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership and monitor market developments impacting the portfolio.

Develop and implement strategies to increase asset value and achieve financial objectives.

Support leasing strategy and stakeholder relations to optimize occupancy and asset positioning.

Oversee financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and operating expenses.

Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, implementing contingency plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field.

7-10 years of progressive experience managing multiple assets or complex INDUSTRIAL portfolios in a commercial or investment context.

Proven ability to lead teams and oversee multiple operational or investment initiatives.

Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Experience negotiating agreements, managing stakeholder relationships, and implementing portfolio strategies.

Hands‑on mindset with ability to operate both strategically and tactically.

Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
